En Marzo de 2003 ve la luz la quinta producción de los ingleses de Cradle of Filth titulada “Damnation and a Day”,basado en parte del poema épico de John Milton, “Paradise Lost”, que habla sobre la caida de Adan y Eva, y el apocalipsis.

El disco se ecuentra dividio en 4 movimientos donde desarrolla el conflicto que existe entre Dios, Adan , Eva y el diablo.
